Before the appointment

Gather equipment history and any new comfort concerns. Clear access to the indoor and outdoor equipment, secure pets and tell the office about access restrictions. Follow your equipment manufacturer’s filter-care instructions.

Know your visit scope

Leading’s published maintenance scope includes seasonal cleaning, refrigerant checks, electrical and safety tests, drain flushing, airflow and thermostat checks, and a written report. Covered work depends on the equipment and season; repairs and parts are discussed separately.

Ask for the findings

Discuss observations, applicable readings and any proposed next steps. Your maintenance plan’s written agreement explains covered systems, scheduling, additional charges and the conditions for membership benefits.

Have a question about your own system?
